BUILDING MAINTENANCE Mechanic: The Auburn Enlarged City School District is accepting applications for a building maintenance position at the Harriet Tubman Building. The pay rate for a Building Maintenance position is $23.73 per hour. Job duties will include: Supervisory tasks, performing repairs to plumbing, steam lines, electric wiring, furniture, doors & windows, hardware and varied mechanical equipment and machinery. Carpentry tasks, painting, keeps daily time and material records, estimating materials and repairs, and overall maintenance for the district. Applicants can begin work after NYS Education Department fingerprint clearance (at a cost of $102 paid by the applicant) and Board of Education approval.
