Arlington Central School District is seeking student centered Teaching Assistants with experience working with students with disabilities for our Journeys Middle School Autism Program at ort Union Vale Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. *(3) 35 hr/wk Special Education Journey's Health Aide Teaching AssistantsStarting salary $20,197 Duties will include:Following teacher directivesCollaborating with other teachers and staff membersProviding behavioral and academic support to studentsAll successful candidates will receive training in behavioral management, academic support and health aide training. The District offers:Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or moreSome paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more. Access to Educator’s EAPOptional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS Teacher Retirement System (Pension)Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000) Starting salary is approximately $15.60/hr. However, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.
