Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Temporary Special Education Teacher in our Elementary Responsive Support Program at Beekman Elementary School effective January 24, 2024 through June 25, 2024. The Responsive Support Program is a new program for students having difficulty in their traditional classroom setting. The program will focus on social, emotional and behavior skills using the Dialectical Behavior Skills framework. The ideal candidate may have experience with students who have experienced school avoidance and emotionality (either inward or outward). Additionally, the candidate should be flexible, positive and willing to help build this new program into the supportive environment students need. Salary: $61,649-$66,053(pro-rated) Minimum NYS Certification of Special Education –or- Students With Disabilities B-2 and Students With Disabilities 1-6 is required.
