Ardsley School District is seeking a 12 month Office Assistant (Automated Systems) in the Central Office effective October 1, 2025.GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:Front Desk Reception:Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students and community membersGreet and assist all visitors in a professional and courteous mannerAnswer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages and provide information as neededMonitor visitor sign-in procedures and ensure building security protocols are followed Mail Coordination:Sort, distribute and process all incoming and outgoing district mail and packagesCoordinate with postal and delivery services to ensure timely and accurate delivery District Registrar:Manage student enrollment and withdrawal processes in accordance to district policiesMaintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with FERPA and other confidentiality regulationsCollaborate with schools to ensure proper transfer and documentation of student informationAssist with residency verification and documentation Free and Reduced Meal Program:Distribute, collect and review free and reduced meal applicationsVerify eligibility in accordance with federal and state guidelinesInput and update student eligibility information in the student information system and/or nutrition systemPrepare required reports and submit data to state and federal agencies as needed Human Resources/Civil Service:Assist Human Resources with new employee packets, personnel files, background checks, filingMaintain accurate and confidential recordsPrepare, process and submit all required civil service forms, reports and applicationsCoordinate with Human Resources and Payroll to collect and verify necessary information for civil service reports Miscellaneous:Assist the District Clerk with board appointment lettersAssist with lane movement paperworkOther tasks as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Must meet Civil Service requirementsExperience working in a public school setting preferredExceptional organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationHigh attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of WinCap and eSchool Data a plusWillingness to learn new technologyNYS Fingerprints requiredSALARY: In accordance with AOE contractBENEFITS: Comprehensive health, dental & vision offered at a low monthly premiumIn addition to applying on OLAS, you must also apply on our website at www.ardsleyschools.org (click on Careers).
