The Ardsley Union Free School District is seeing a part-time (.4) ENL Teacher at Concord Road Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. NYS certification and fingerprinting is required.Nature and Scope of the Job: The English as a New Language teacher/teacher of Multilingual Learners will provide targeted language instruction and support to multilingual learners in grades K-4. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive appropriate language development instruction aligned with their individual needs.Qualifications:Valid New York State certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Childhood Education (1-6) Experience working with elementary-aged multilingual learners preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsCommitment to supporting equity, inclusion, and the academic success of all learners Performance Responsibilities:Delivering direct ENL services to identified students in Kindergarten through fourth gradeDeveloping and implementing language acquisition goals based on students’ English proficiency levelsCollaborating with classroom teachers to support content-area learning and differentiationMonitoring student progress and maintaining required documentationParticipating in team meetings and contributing to the development of instructional plansIn addition to applying on OLAS, you must also apply on our website at www.ardsleyschools.org (click on Careers).
