Experience working with students with social-emotional deficits,autism spectrum disorder, and other disabilities.- Crisis intervention and behavior intervention skills - BCBA Certification highly preferred- Working knowledge of the Commissioner's Part 200 Regulations including LRE- Experience working with students with special needs- Leadership role within the Instructional Support Team- Solid understanding and investment in the MTSS process- Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations- Successfully chair CSE/504 meetings and IEP development- Strong counseling background (both individual and group)- Demonstrate highly effective communication skills with parents and students- Evidence of ability to work collaboratively and in consultative model with parents, providers and school personnel- Working knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) preferred- The psychologist will also be expected to effectively supervise psychology internsProper NYS Certification is required.Apply on OLAS
