Description:The APW School District is looking for a flexible, professional, and caring individual to act as a year-round building substitute at our Junior Senior High School. The position will require filling in at various grade levels and subject areas, sometimes at very short notice. The successful candidate will be provided a one-year contract including benefits. ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students.Keep accurate attendance and records for absent teachers.Follow lesson plans and deliver classroom instruction as directed by classroom teacher.Provide support to students in completing assignments.Supervise classrooms, study halls, lunches, and hallways during unassigned periods.Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of theschool, classroom and position to which assigned.Perform other duties consistent with the position as may be requested by the principalor designated representativeSalary:$120-$145 per dayRequired Credentials:High School DiplomaPreferred Credentials:NYS Teaching certification
