SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS (NON-CERTIFIED)Districtwide 2025/2026 School Year The Amityville Union Free School District is seeking Per-Diem Non-Certified Substitute Teachers at all grade Levels for the 2025/2026 school year. The responsibilities include: Providing instructional support by covering teacher absences throughout the school year.Following lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and ensure continuity in student learning.Collaborating with full-time staff and administrators to maintain a positive and effective learning environment.This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to adapt to various grade levels and subjects. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degreeClassroom teaching experience preferredWill only be allowed to work for 40 days/yearAll positions must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of EducationNOTE: The district withholds the right to change substitute placements in the event of an emergency. SALARY: ATA Contract / $135 per day
