Special Education Teacher Assistants support the teacher in delivering the curriculum to meet the children's needs through individual or small group settings; assists with large group activities as per the teacher's directives. Qualifications: Must have NYS Teacher Assistant Certification or in process. Must have a HS Diploma/GED. /College credits in Early Childhood a plus/experience with special needs population. Must be comfortable with toileting & diapering. Behavioral experience a plus. Bilingual preferred.
