Alternatives For Children is seeking a self-motivated Executive Administrative Assistant to serve as the right hand to the Executive Director. In this pivotal role, you will ensure seamless administrative operations, strategic scheduling, and effective communication with the Board of Directors. You must be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage confidential information with discretion. Strong background in fundraising support, donor relations and event coordination are essential.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative professional supporting C-level or Executive leadership, ideally in the nonprofit or education sectors. Demonstrated experience supporting and coordinating activities with Board of Director members. Responsible for attending board meetings and preparing minutes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and document-sharing platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox). Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask priorities under tight deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.Job Type: Full timeLocation: East SetauketHours: Monday to Friday 8:30-4:00 70 hours biweeklySalary Range: $55,000-$63,000
