We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This social worker will be an active member of a multi-disciplinary Special Education team, and become a liaison between the home and educational environment. Responsibilities include family outreach, community referrals/resources, parent training/student counseling, daily classroom support and consultation, Crisis Team, co-lead support groups/workshops and social skills groups. Experience in positive behavior management, sensory integration, working with children who have social/emotional delays, behavioral issues, and Autism. Experience with special needs preschool population preferred.Must have LCSW licensure and experience with preschool population.Job Type: Full time/ Part timeLocation: Full time 3 days Southampton - 2 days Dix Hills OR 2 Part time 3 days Southampton Part time 2 days Dix HillsHours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:00
