The after school program is seeking enrichment program instructors for the 2023-2024 school year. The goals of the program are to increase academic support and achievement, increase access to enrichment activities, and increase engagement for families of students. Before beginning the program, each instructor will be required to attend a mandatory meeting and submit a program proposal including objectives, goals, student requirements, skills to be practiced, events, and potential supply needs. Instructors will be responsible for recruiting and retaining participants. Job sharing is allowed but not required.The mission of the City School District of Albany is to work in partnership with our diverse community to engage every learner in a robust educational program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for success. The district serves nearly 9,700 students in 17 schools: 12 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, an alternative-education program and Albany High School, a comprehensive high school with a career and technical center. The City School District of Albany has an anticipated opening(s) for the 2023-2024 school year and is now accepting applications for Empire State After-School Program Middle School Enrichment Instructor- North Albany Middle School and Stephen Harriet Myers Middle School .Please apply through OLAS by sending your letter of interest, resume, NYS certification (valid certification at the time of application is required) and all supporting materials.
