The mission of the City School District of Albany is to work in partnership with our diverse community to engage every learner in a robust educational program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for success. The City School District of Albany has an anticipated opening(s) for the 2022-2023 school year and is now accepting applications for full-time probationary Instructional Coach - Biliteracy at Albany International Center/Dual Language Program.Please apply through OLAS by sending your letter of interest, resume, NYS certification (valid certification at the time of application is required) and all supporting materials. This will be an on-going recruiting process until filled.The City School District of Albany is seeking a Biliteracy Coach to provide professional development and support to Dual Language and ENL teachers. The Biliteracy Coach will have a solid understanding of second language acquisition theory and practice as well as literacy development in both the native and target languages. Experience working with language learners preferred. The Biliteracy Coach will support the needs of the Dual Language Program and Albany International Center through teacher professional development, coaching, data analysis, and keeping up on current research in the field.
