Prepare IEP/IFSP goals and include therapeutic recommendations into each student’s program.Prepare daily schedule/lesson plan for each student with activities aligned to NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core Standards, informed by authentic assessment data which advance school readiness goals and reflect the objectives contained in IEP; prepare Progress Reports and update IEP as needed; participate in review meetings.Maintain ongoing behavioral records on students as needed, and manage behavioral and other emergencies as per AHRC policy and procedure.Provide educational perspective at all team discussions. Be aware of and incorporate current theory, research findings and best practice into student’s program. Oversee all student activities and coordinate Assistant Teacher’s interactions with students. Develop and monitor schedules for classroom assignments.
