AHRC New York City is seeking Behavior Trainer Assistants to join their teams. POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:Brooklyn Blue Feather Elementary – Sheepshead Bay, BrooklynAHRC Middle/High School – Dyker Heights, BrooklynAHRC Staten Island Prep – Staten IslandUnder the direction of the Behavior Trainer, the Behavior Trainer Assistant will:-Implement an intensive behavioral model individually and/or in a group based on the theories of applied behavior analysis and/or TEACCH principles, in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).-Participate in program planning and communicate observations to Behavior Trainer and other team members.Salary $34,650 – AA and NYS Teacher Assistant Certification Level I,II,III $36,000- BA or MA and NYS Teacher Assistant Certification Level I,II,IIIAHRC New York City Schools operate on a 12 Month Calendar that includes a 30 day Summer Session.
