Afton Central School District is accepting applications for a Special Education Teacher for grades K-5. The successful candidate will be appointed to a regular probationary appointment effective September 1, 2025, or as soon thereafter as possible. Minimum qualification for the position is Special Education certification by the N.Y.S. Education Department.Salary for the position is negotiable depending upon the experience and education of the successful candidate. Fringe benefits will be in accordance with the contract between the Afton Central School District and the Afton Teachers’ Association.Interested persons are asked to complete an OLAS application and send a letter of interest, resume, school application and 3 letters of recommendation.
